GM Mamedyarov (AZE, 2742) - the 8th player of the world , GM Movsesian (SVK, 2723) - the 16th player of the world, GM Motylev (RUS, 2674), GM Najer (RUS, 2670) - the former winner of the festival , GM Navara (CZE, 2646), GM Mamedov (AZE, 2627), GM Laznicka (CZE, 2601), GM Babula (CZE, 2597) - the double winner of the festival, and a lot of other GMs and IMs will take part in the Open Championship of the Czech Republic in active chess. The participation in this event is without any performance limitations.
GM Grachev (RUS, 2640), GM Potkin (RUS, 2629), GM Hracek (2625), GM Babula (CZE, 2597) - the double winner of the festival and a lot of other GMs and IMs will take part in the main GM open tournament.
GMs Navara, Motylev, Laznicka (CZE), Buhmann (GER), Chernyshov (RUS), Vokarev (RUS), Neelotpal (IND), Vokac (CZE) and Malinin (UKR) will take part in the Open Championship of the Czech Republic of Fischerandom chess. The participation in this event is without any performance limitations.
The leading games of the Open Championship of the Czech Republic in active chess and the main GM open tournament will be available on-line on this website.
The most interesting games from the main GM open tournament will be analyse by GMs Mamedyarov, Movsesian, Motylev, Najer and Mamedov during its doing.
Top European professional go player Mr. Catalin Taranu (ROU, 2747) will take part in the go tournament and give a public lesson - commentary of tournament games on 13th July 16:00 before prize-giving. The lesson will be also transmitted on EuroGoTV. Korean professionals Seul Ki Hong (2738) a Min Ho Lee (2700) will take part as well.
