System of tournament: Swiss system of 9 rounds
Rate of game: 2x 1,5 h/40 + 30 min + 30 s / move
Waiting time in case of late coming is 1 h
Starting fee is given in EUR (payments in CZK and USD possible):

Exceptions: The organizer reserves the right to accept a player whose ELO does not meet requirements of the tournament (starting fee is marked with *)
Discounts: seniors over 65 years of age and women players have 25 % discount, these discounts are not added up and do not refer to additional charge for late registration and exception in the tournament.
Fees for rating of the tournament results for ELO charged according to the economic directive of the Chess Federation of the Czech Republic (2.5 EUR for a player) are included in the starting fee.
Late registrations: Those players whose application will be registered after 30th June 2026 will pay additional charge of 13 EUR.
Tournament prize fund (financial prizes in CZK, payment in EUR possible, from prizes in excess of 50 000 15% tax will be deducted): 250 000 CZK altogether

Complete your obligatory applications together with accommodation orders by 30th June 2026 on-line or send them by e-mail to office@avechess.cz.
All foreign players must have an assigned FIDE identification number (abbreviation FIDE ID or FID) at the time of the submission of the application form. If they do not have it, they have to apply their national chess federation for it.
Electronic devices are not allowed in the playing area. Players are asked to keep electronic devices in their hotel rooms. If this is not possible, electronic devices can be handed over to authorized personnel in the playing area. However, the device must be completely turned off, making any sound, including the handed-over phone, will result in the loss of the game.
