G1 – Open championship of the Czech Republic in rapid chess with rating for ACP TOUR and rapid ELO FIDE

 

23–24 July 2025

 

Right of participation: players without age and performance limitations

System of tournament: Swiss system of 9 rounds

Rate of game: 2x 20 min + 10 s / move

Starting fee is given in EUR (payments in CZK and USD possible):

ELO FIDE >= 2200 13
ELO FIDE 2000–2199 17
ELO FIDE < 2000 25
GM, IM, WGM and WIM 0

 

Discounts: seniors over 65 years of age and women have 25% discount, these discounts do not refer to additional charge for late registration and are not added up

Fees for rating of the tournament results for rapid ELO charged according to the economic directive of the Chess Federation of the Czech Republic (0.5 EUR for a player) are included in the starting fee.

Late registrations: Those players whose application will be registered after 30th June 2025 will pay additional charge of 4 EUR.

Tournament prize fund (financial prizes in CZK, including prizes for best players of the Czech Republic, payment in EUR possible): 75 000 CZK altogether

Criteria used for ranking:
1. number of points
2. Buchholz Cut 1
3. Buchholz
4. Sonnenborn-Berger
5. the greater number of games played with black
prizes are distributed according to Hort system (among such number of players corresponding to number of advertised prizes) in overall ranking

Time schedule of the Tournament:

Wednesday 23 July 14.00 - 17.00 registration
    18.00 - 21.30 1st - 3rd round
Thursday 24 July 9.00 - 12.30 4th - 6th round
    13.30 - 17.00 7th - 9th round
    17.45 - 18.00 solemn conclusion

All foreign players must have an assigned FIDE identification number (abbreviation FIDE ID or FID) at the time of the submission of the application form. If they do not have it, they have to apply their national chess federation for it.

Place: Registration, solemn conclusion and all games will take place at the IDEON congress centre
